Your responsibilities will include:
- Creating a nurturing and inclusion atmosphere where all students feel valued and supported.
- Collaborating with teachers and administrators to develop and implement tailored support plans for students.
- Providing one on one assistance and small group instruction to address academic and behavioural needs.
- Implementing strategies to promote social skills development, self-regulation, and positive behaviour.
- Monitoring student process and adjusting support strategies as needed to ensure success.
- Serving as an advocate for students with diverse needs and facilitating communication between stakeholders.
The 4 Day Week Campaign believes it would “dramatically improve the lives of teachers”. We are always looking for new ways to improve everyone’s work/life balance at The Westleigh School and we are excited to have been asked to be part of a trial of the 4-Day teaching week for staff whilst continuing to receive full-time pay, which will commence 2023/2024

We are very close to achieving full 1:1 device delivery and are sprinting towards better use of iPads in lessons to enhance the experience and learning.
