How you'll make a difference
What will you be doing?
- You will identify areas of practice and decision making that could benefit from being informed by research.
- You will help to make research accessible to colleagues using a variety of methods.
- You will be a part of a capacity building initiative by identifying and delivering training needs for yourself and the wider Adult Social Care staff.
- You will be involved with the project evaluation through collecting data on research use in South Gloucestershire Adult Social Care.
What we need from you
- You will hold a Social Work or Occupational Therapy professional qualification. You will currently be working as a Social Care professional, registered with HCPC or Social Work England
- You will have significant and current (within last 2 years) experience of working in Adult Social Care and will have knowledge of current legislation, policies and practice.
- You will have well-developed interpersonal /team-working / relationship building skills, and respect and consideration for the skills of others.
- You will have the ability to organise your own time and work, manage competing priorities working independently and using initiative to problem-solve.
- You will have a good level of general IT skills and the ability to use, or be trained in the use of, appropriate specialist in-house software packages.
