We have an exciting opportunity to join our already successful team in Minster West Drayton as an Internal Sales Advisor. If you are passionate about delivering great service, and keen to develop your sales skills, then this could be the opportunity you've been waiting for!

MINSTER: Unit 3&4 Northpoint Business Park, Horton Road, West Drayton, UB7 8EQ

This is a full-time position working Monday to Friday between 7am and 5pm

Our Internal Sales Advisor is one of the most important roles in our business. A great Internal Sales Advisor will keep our business running smoothly whilst building strong customer relationships and sales opportunities.

What will I be doing in the role?

  • Building excellent relationships with new and lapsed customers so you can understand and meet their needs

  • Maximising customer interactions to support achievement of sales and profit targets through upselling and cross-selling relevant products, offering specific product advice.

  • Getting to know our suppliers and continuously looking for opportunities to improve product and industry knowledge

  • Ensuring all customer orders are fulfilled in a timely fashion.

  • Following plans to continuously improve customer experience.

  • Advising customers on trading terms and conditions and information in relation to customer accounts and credit levels. (financial)

  • Supporting all Company initiatives.

There are some specific skills we are looking for from suitable candidates.

  • Experience working within building and construction materials industry is essential for this role (ideally insulation & drylining)

  • Great customer focus and desire to do your absolute best to get the best outcomes

  • Ability to build rapport and develop good understanding of your portfolio to secure future projects.

  • Proactive approach to sales, with experience with internal or direct sales in a B2B setting

  • Well organised

  • Great attention to detail

  • Efficiently use IT equipment and have a strong telephone presence.
