Smart Solutions are working with a leading architectural supplier to the commercial and domestic markets in the UK, who are seeking an experienced Internal Sales Advisorto join their team in the Newport area. You will play a crucial role in driving sales and revenue growth for the company by effectively managing and expanding relationships with existing and lapsed customers whilst also identifying and cultivating new business opportunities. This role involves a combination of customer communication, product knowledge and sales expertise. The role will support the achieving of sales targets and return of quotes.
Duties of the Internal Sales Advisor:
- Re-establish lapsed accounts
- Develop new sales lead opportunities
- Produce and follow up quotations
- Take ownership of orders and provide support to clients
- Upselling products & services
- Occasionally visiting clients
Requirements for the Internal Sales Advisor:
- Must have similar experience ideally within the manufacturing/production sector.
- Steel industry experience is desired but not essential.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Self motivated.
- Own transport due to location of business.
