A bit about the role:
- The Internal Sales Engineer will deliver sales and support services to customers.
- Provide technical sales and support across the product range and use the company CRM system for generating quotations and related documents.
- Proactively engage in the development of communication channels, the Internal Sales Engineer strives to convert opportunities, secure orders, showcase the full company capability, and gather market and competitor information, contributing to the Company's overall success.
- Manage activities, opportunities, and customer touchpoints through the Company CRM system.
- Accurately quote key accounts within agreed time frames.
- Upsell products and services to all customers.
- Negotiate purchase pricing and delivery times to maximize margins and meet customer expectations.
What’s required?
- Technical Sales experience, preferably with a background in mechanical or electrical engineering, is essential.
- Prior experience in customer interactions, either face-to-face or over the phone, within an office setting is required.
- Knowledge and experience in the Process Instrumentation Industry are advantageous.
- Ideally educated to 'A Level' standard or equivalent, with a technical 'degree level' qualification being beneficial.
- Familiarity with CRM/ERP systems is important.
- Proficient in all Microsoft Office programs.
- Possesses a high level of accuracy and keen attention to detail.
- Demonstrates a proactive, can-do attitude.
