Internal Sales Executive
Job Location: Poole, Dorset
Job Type: Permanent
Salary: £25,000 - £28,000 per annum (Depending on level of experience) + exceptional company bonus
Hours: Monday – Friday 8.30am – 5pm
Benefits: 23 days holiday plus banks (31 days holiday) rising with service to 28 days holidays plus banks (36 days holiday), pension, free onsite parking, excellent working environment
One of the UK’s largest suppliers of engineered products have been growing year on year and hold an excellent position in the market are looking to add to their team by recruiting for an Internal Sales Executive on a permanent basis to join their friendly, busy and hardworking team based in Poole.
Your role will see you communicating with B2B customers and updating them of product availability, pricing, finding out about their future requirements and communicating with them regularly to advise of other or better products for their requirements.
With a catalogue of products available to fulfil their clients needs, you will have your own accounts to look after, grow and develop, being the main contact for them for any enquiries.
The key duties for this position will include:
• Building relationships and providing first class customer service via telephone and email.
• Producing quotations and following them up to ensure they meet customer requirements with the view of converting them to sales
• Obtaining data from customers relating to their requirements and keeping them upto date with prices and product availability
• Loading sales orders on to the system in an accurate and timely manner.
• Provide relevant information and support to customers by assisting with enquiries regarding orders, quotations, product information, status, lead times, costs and deliveries.
• General office administration duties including making sure databases are kept up to date with customer communications and actions.
The successful applicant will:
• Have previous experience in either a customer service, sales or business development role where you have looked after your own customer accounts
• Experience of working with business customers
• Have excellent attention to detail, highly organised and have a ‘can do’ attitude
• Self-motivated and results driven
• Confident working on your own as much as you enjoy working collaboratively within a team
• Excellent communication skills both written and verbally
• Strong PC skills and Microsoft programmes including Excel
