Job Title: Sales Engineer - Parts & Service AftermarketLocation: Colchester, UK (Hybrid)
Are you an ambitious and skilled individual with a background in engineering Sales Support?
Cooper Lomaz are seeking a dynamic and experienced Sales Engineer, on behalf of a respected client, to join their Parts & Service Aftermarket team.
As a Sales Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in Internal Sales, building and maintaining relationships with both new and existing customers. Your responsibilities will include interpreting engineering drawings, schedules, and database systems to provide accurate product information, preparing quotations, and ensuring timely order processing.
This is not a commision role
Key Responsibilities:
- Build and maintain effective relationships with customers and suppliers.
- Interpret engineering drawings, schedules, and database systems.
- Prepare detailed quotations and framework proposals for customers.
- Handle RFQs in a timely and professional manner.
- Collaborate with the wider sales team and support order processing.
- Attend meetings with suppliers and customers, both locally and internationally.
- Assist in project management and contribute to sales forecasts and reports.
Qualifications and Skills:
- NVQ level 3 or above in an engineering subject preferred.
- Previous sales or engineering product experience beneficial.
- Proficient in MS Office; willingness to learn internal CRM and ERP systems.
- Strong communication skills and ability to resolve inquiries effectively.
- Independent judgment and problem-solving skills.
- Self-motivated and able to work with minimal supervision.
