Potensis Selection are currently working with a leading Residential Developer who are looking to hire an Internal Site Manager to oversee the progress of an exciting development. You will have the opportunity to work on an on-going project with a long pipeline in place. Here, you will be guaranteeing the project delivery is on time and in accordance to the build programme, focusing on the health and safety, quality and presentation. A predominant feature of this position will be overseeing sub-contractors and ensuring they are working at the proper standard and pace.
In addition, you will be:
- Managing the day to day running of the development, providing clear direction to those working on site.
- Managing and implementing health and safety procedures, working closely with the relevant Health and Safety Managers, ensuring all aspects of health and safety are followed.
- Motivating, supporting and managing the site staff, providing toolbox talks, training, coaching, and support as required to improve performance.
- Ensure site presentation is maintained at the necessary standard at all times.
- Deliver all aspects of production requirements in accordance with relevant technical and planning documentation provided and any subsequent instructions that may be necessary from time to time.
- Fully conform to building regulations and warranty providers’ requirements (NHBC, LABC Services).
- Ensure accurate production/progress returns are updated and sent to the Construction Manager and/or Construction Director as requested.
- Ensure that adequate site records are maintained including but not limited to Site Managers reports, labour requirements, plant, materials, site inductions and health and safety records.
- Thoroughly inspect and ensure any remedial work is completed in advance of each key stage inspection.
Requirements:
- Experience with RC Frame and apartment-based projects.
- Possess a Valid up-to-date CSCS card.
- Excellent attention to detail with a focus on quality, presentation and health & safety.
- Highly proficient in planning and project delivery regarding time and budget.
- The ability to deliver excellent customer service at all times.
- Experience of previously being an Internal Site Manager. A clear understanding regarding the requirements of what will be necessary to maintain a solid pace throughout the project at any time.
