Job Title: Senior Payroll Manager
Location: London, UK (Office based role and based in Green Park)
Type: Permanent, Full-time
Company Overview: Join a global investment firm at the heart of London's financial district. Our client is seeking a Senior Payroll Manager to become an integral part of their dynamic finance team. With a strong culture of collaboration and support, this role offers the opportunity to lead the payroll function and be part of a team of 6 finance professionals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate closely with the finance team to grasp the organizational structure and nuances related to payroll, including different employing entities, teams in various countries.
- Deal with more complex payroll duties such as calculating bonuses, clawbacks clauses, jurisdictions in different countries etc.
- Take ownership of the payroll function in a standalone capacity.
- Prepare monthly payroll files for review by senior comptrollers.
- Provide guidance and liaise with other team members of the business.
- Undertake ad hoc duties as required.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 7 years' experience in a similar role.
- Essential experience with international payroll operations.
- Preferred background in an investment management firm or hedge fund.
- Proficiency in managing complex payroll processes across different jurisdictions, currencies, and bonus calculations.
- Finance-focused background with a preference for accounting experience over HR.
