Job description
This role can be based at either London or Manchester.
The intern will support the Non-Mainline division in ORR's Railway Safety Directorate. The Non- Mainline division is responsible for regulating Transport for London, Tramways and Light Rail and Heritage Railways. The successful candidate will gain a range of experiences in health and safety regulation- typical types of work may include supporting ORR's inspectors with inspection work, investigations and data analysis, assisting in the organisation of events or carrying out research. The role is likely to be split between all operational teams in division. The role will be located in either the London or Manchester offices to allow the intern to be co-located with a line manager.
At ORR we have adopted hybrid working and are currently expected to work from a workplace location for a minimum of two days per week.
Regional office salary: £20,647
London office salary: £23,960
This is a Full Time, Fixed-Term 8-week internship.
