We are looking for an IT Training and Support Officer to design and deliver IT training and training resources for tools and technologies used in the IT transformation, ensuring colleagues are upskilled with the appropriate level of knowledge and support to perform their day-to-day activities across the charity.
About this job:
As IT Training and Support Officer you’ll:
- be responsible for creating comprehensive training plans for a variety of IT tools across Dogs Trust, designing and developing IT resources and delivering the training, both in person and online
- work closely with Digital Learning and IT Training Manager to capture IT training requirements across Dogs Trust to assist with the design and development of an IT training strategy
- attend a variety of project meetings to ensure training needs are being captured efficiently throughout the project lifecycle and a, effective training delivery plan is created and rolled out
- evaluate the effectiveness of training sessions and learning resources and ensure any required changes are applied
About you:
To be successful in this role, you’ll need some experience of delivering training; online, in-person and using written materials, with a particular focus on training others to use Salesforce. You’ll need to be a great communicator, who can confidently present complex information in a concise, accessible way. You’ll also need an excellent understanding of IT processes, and how they contribute to operational function. Finally, a genuine interest and commitment to the aims and objectives of Dogs Trust is essential.

About the team:
The role sits within the Learning and Development (Digital) team under Organisational Development responsible for overseeing the development of staff across the organisation, including co-ordinating the delivery of learning and training.
