Job description

Are you an experienced TA or qualified Teacher seeking to make an impact in targeted interventions?

Do you perhaps have a proven track record or pupil development and engagement?

Do you have experience with the KS1/2 curriculum?

And are you available from March 2024 seeking a long term post?

I am presently recruiting for a selection of Blackpool Primaries who are seeking KS1/2 Intervention specialists to support on the lead up to mid year and end of year assessments. Ideally you will have an understanding of Phonics, SPAG, Maths and comprehension. There will be a pastoral responsibility to this role which is great for anyone with prior experience or seeking to develop this skill set. Ideally you will have experience with interventions, 1:1, IEP or EHCP plans. This position will run Monday - Friday for full hours and part time hours 2-3 days a week are available as it is a selection of schools we are recruiting for. You will be working with small groups and 1:1 pupils and matched to a school based on your location and availability. Pay is between 14.61 - 15.38 per hour.

  • Identify pupils for targeted intervention
  • Actively seek and introduce interventions that assist in overcoming potential barriers to learning
  • Work in a 1:1 or group situation with targeted pupils as required
  • Develop and deliver a range of interventions that meet the needs of the pupils and gather impact evidence on the outcomes
  • Develop a relationship with parents
