We are looking for a fantastic Inventory Manager to join our operations team with an immediate start.

The successful candidate will be responsible for demand planning, purchasing, reporting and inventory management within our UK and European Warehouses.
You will
- Lead the Inventory team, ensuring exceptional performance and service delivery through effective performance management, engagement, and leadership.
- Develop and implement inventory control procedures and best practices across warehouses ensuring stock levels are within the required targeted values.
- Accurately record inventory information that is needed to properly supply customers and have full set of information recorded in companies' system
- Stock control all live inventory for two separate warehouses, ensuring stock levels are within the required targeted values.
- Plan the purchase orders that are to be ordered for all warehouses.
- Plan monthly internal inter branch transfers to ensure optimal inventor levels
- Use our ERP to review stock outs, potential stock outs, excess & surplus to advise the business when issues arise.
- Prepare monthly management reports for all inventory related updates
- Working with the Sales team on inventory focussed analysis to help drive sales and optimise inventory Have regular calls with key suppliers to review production schedules
- Review key suppliers' performance to ensure optimal lead times etc
Our new Inventory Manager will have experience in a similar role with great leadership potential. Strong verbal and written communication is essential, both with domestic and international customers and suppliers. An eye for detail along with excellent analytical skills is a must, as is the ability to problem solve and develop workable solutions to challenges.
You'll be able to successfully negotiate favourable terms with suppliers and drive completion of projects and daily activities to an exceptional standard. You will have knowledge of demand planning, preferably using Sage Inventory Manager and be familiar with ERPs ideally Acumatica or similar.
Level 5 loSCM or equivalent is preferred.
