This role presents an exciting opportunity for a qualified lawyer to work on sophisticated Investment Funds matters and further develop their legal career in a dynamic and collaborative environment.
Responsibilities:
- Provide legal advice and support on a wide range of Investment Funds matters, including fund formation, structuring, and regulatory compliance.
- Draft and review fund documentation, including private placement memoranda, limited partnership agreements, and subscription agreements.
- Conduct due diligence and assist with the negotiation of investment agreements and transactions.
- Stay informed of developments in Investment Funds law and regulations to ensure compliance and provide strategic advice to clients.
- Collaborate with colleagues and clients to address complex legal issues and achieve successful outcomes.
Qualifications:
- Admission to the bar in Chicago with a JD from an accredited law school.
- Prior experience in Investment Funds law, gained through coursework, internships, or legal practice.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret and apply complex legal principles.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
