SalaryWe are working with a leading large cap credit fund who are seeking to grow their Portfolio Management team in London. They have 10bn+ of AUM and are one of the leading teams in the space.
The Portfolio Management team sits within the Direct Lending team, side by side the origination team, and is considered front office with all members heavily involved in financial modelling, presenting to IC and working closely with CFOs and COOs of the portfolio companies as well. What the job involves
A highly technical role, that requires financing modelling and an ethanium for working with portfolio companies coupled with strong presentation and communication skills.
- Financial modelling (building LBO models from scratch)
- Thorough analysis of portfolio companies
- Presentations both to internal stakeholders and external
- Strong communication skills to work with management teams within portfolio companies
- Generating monthly reports of portfolio companies performance
- Restructurings of underperforming companies
- Various ad hoc tasks when required
- 4-7 (full time) years of experience
- From either: Portfolio management, Direct Lending, Leverage Finance Origination, Leveraged Finance Credit, Restructuring (IB)
- History of strong academics from leading institutions
- An enthusiastic attitude and willingness to work within a team
- Entrepreneurial in nature and happy to step up with large amounts of responsibility
