What you will do
This role is in the start-up heart of our little start-up, joining our small London team in building up our UK brokerage. You’ll be stretched across the financial domain and able to learn from experienced operators across the breadth of the brokerage.
- You’ll be part of the UK Operations team at Lightyear, working together with leadership and product teams
- You’ll run daily processes that keep the lights on for U.K. customers, including:
- Brokerage Operations – running daily processes trading and payment monitoring, liquidity and FX exposure management, account reconciliation, funds safeguarding
- Compliance Operations – analyse, review and evaluate our customers to fulfil internal KYC requirements, and perform due diligence on our customers, incl. EDD, ODD and OEDD and sanctions, PEP and adverse media screening
- Customer Operations – helping customers with their concerns, and troubleshooting their onboarding
- Investigations and incidents – support in resolving incidents, and mitigating the impact for UK customers.
Requirements
- 2 years experience in financial services, in either:
- brokerage, treasury or financial operations
- KYC, EDD, AML, compliance operations
- Available to work during the afternoon/evening shift (12:00pm - 08:00pm)
- You feel comfortable wearing multiple hats and have a hands-on approach
- You feel comfortable wearing multiple hats and have a hands-on approach
- Ideally, self-sufficient in using data to make decisions and measure results
- Deep customer focus, desire and record of solving problems for customers
- Having worked in a startup environment is a plus; having worked with product engineering teams to build things is a plus
