ABOUT THE ROLE
As an Investment Programme Manager, you will lead a team of project managers and technical staff responsible for the delivery of our planned works programme, with an annual value of over £20 million.
You will be part of a team which support Stevenage Borough Council’s programme to modernise social housing as part of its vision to develop the town.
ABOUT YOU
Successful candidates will have a good working knowledge of delivering similar programmes ideally within social housing and managing a team of property professionals.
You ideally will have or be able to develop:
- Excellent programme/project management skills and commercial awareness.
- A strong knowledge of Building legislation including Planning, Building regulations, CDM, Health & Safety Legislation and Party Wall Act.
- Excellent organisational skills to deal with a diverse workload with tight deadlines and to oversee the workload of the team.
- Experience of procuring, managing, and delivering projects, with a value more than £5m, including devolved budgets.
- Proven experience of managing programmes of multiple projects in a Local Government property environment.
- Proven experience of team management where targets are exceeded and effective, efficient services delivered.
The successful candidate will be committed to delivering excellent customer service, have demonstrable experience, hold a relevant related qualification and be able to effectively manage and prioritise own workload.
