Due to continued business growth, we are delighted to be recruiting for anInvoicing Administratorto join our brilliant Customer & Operations team.

Reporting to the Head of Customer & Operations – Electrical Division, as an Invoicing Administrator you will work with our job planning system to create and distribute sales invoices for customers for completed jobs. By doing this, you will help us deliver the highest quality service. The role would suit someone who has experience of working in a finance administration team or who is working towards a finance/administration qualification.

As an Invoicing Administrator, you’ll have the drive and desire progress your administration career and an accurate, methodical approach with excellent attention to detail.

You’ll also communicate confidently and effectively as you will be working with a variety of amazing people from across our business.

You will offer previous experience in a finance administration or invoicing focussed role, and ideally be working towards a finance or administration professional qualification. You’ll have strong Excel skills, as well as being adept at financial systems and processes. As a proficient and experienced finance administration professional who isn't afraid of a challenge, you’ll enjoy our changing environment as we continue to grow at an impressive pace!

What will I be doing?

No two days are the same at BES Group. As an Invoicing Administrator, you’ll be working in a busy department within the business that sees high volumes of invoices, and is growing consistently. The scope of this role will grow over time as you develop your skills and experience but some of your key responsibilities include:

  • Working with other departments to complete sales documentation
  • Creating and sending sales invoices
  • Posting sales invoices to the Xero accounts system
  • Working with the wider finance team and internal teams to prioritise and organise workload when required

What experience do I need?

Our team consists of the best Customer & Operations team members, we should know, we trained them!

You will offer previous finance administration or invoicing experience, ideally gained from working within an in-house finance department or in a similar role. We are open to different levels of experience and backgrounds but to work for us you must have the right attitude, aptitude and appetite for what we do; Keeping Britain Safe. You’ll also:

  • Offer previous experience in a finance or invoicing administration role
  • Be working towards a finance or administration professional qualification (desirable)
  • Strong IT skills and the ability to use finance systems, Microsoft Excel and Word confidently
  • Previous experience using Xero is an advantage, but not essential
  • Self-motivated, proactive and driven to deliver
  • The ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong organisation skills with the ability to multi-task and prioritise workloads under pressure to meet deadlines
  • An aptitude for financial systems and processes and ability to learn swiftly
  • Have excellent attention to detail and a methodical approach to working
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to build strong internal relationships with finance and non-finance colleagues
  • Have lots of enthusiasm to deliver a refreshing customer experience, every time!
