Salary is £25,000 for the position of IT/Admin Support Assistant.
Our client based in Poole is one of the South's fastest growing insurance brokerages, and they are looking to recruit an IT/Admin Support Assistant to join their team.
PURPOSE
We are seeking a highly organised and detailed-orientated IT/Admin Support Assistant. This position will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth functioning of operational processes, supporting various departments within the organisation. The position is based in the Poole area and the successful candidate will contribute to the overall efficiency and effectiveness of business operations.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Adminsitration duties
- 1st Line low level IT service desk suppport - escalating issues to the IT Manager.
- Data management
- Updating the company website
- updating information on the company database
- Prepare and maintain operational documentation and reports
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations and internal policies
- Provide support to clients, suppliers and internal stakeholders regarding operational queries
- Collaborate with business functions to address and resolve operational issues.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and efficiency
- Collaborate with various departments, including sales, service, digital and binders and schemes, to streamline operations.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to a positive working environment.
- Participate in training programs to enhance skills and knowledge
The ideal candidate for this role will evidence
- Previous experience in a similar operations role.
- Strong attention to details and organisational skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficient in using MS Office applications and insurance specific software
- Knowledge of insurance policies, procedures and regulations.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to addressing challenges.
