An IT Audit Manager specialising in Data Privacy is required to perform complex-level internal audit work across all segments of a Group of organisations. This role involves guiding audit projects, providing consulting services, and contributing to the development of the risk-based annual internal audit plan with a focus on Data Privacy.
Day-to-day of the role:
• Evaluate the organisation’s privacy risk areas and provide key input to the annual internal audit plan.
• Perform audit procedures to ensure compliance with Data Privacy standards.
• Conduct interviews, review documents, and prepare working papers.
• Identify and document privacy-related audit issues and recommendations for improvement.
• Communicate audit and consulting project results to senior management in a timely manner.
• Develop and maintain productive relationships with the Privacy Team and other key business partners.
• Provide coaching and consulting on privacy governance, risk, and control standards.
• Pursue professional development opportunities and share knowledge with colleagues.
• Assess privacy risks associated with third-party vendors.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
• Audit experience with a “Big 4” accounting or IT consulting firm.
• Exposure to privacy policies, regulations, and technology law.
• Experience in privacy controls testing, issue management, and remediation.
• Strong understanding of Data Privacy regulations such as GDPR, CCPA, etc.
• Ability to define Data Privacy standards and integrate them with business processes.
• Knowledge of IT risk management, control techniques, and security control frameworks.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including presenting findings and recommendations.
• Skilled in planning, project management, and meeting multiple deadlines.
• Ability to establish harmonious working relationships and work effectively in a team environment.
• Proficiency in English.
