MAIN PURPOSE
The IT Contract Manager will oversee all aspects of NIHEs IT Contracts.
Ensuring that contract management processes are aligned with the IT Service requirements of the organisation.
Ensuring that the IT Service & Contract Management processes are well defined, implemented and operated across the organisation.
Manage the Contract Management team and ensure that Contract Management input to projects is provided in line with project plan dates and to a high standard.
Key Duties
1. The IT Contract Manager will be responsible for development, management, administration and monitoring of all IT contractual records and ensure compliance with Housing Executive policy, practices and procedures.
2. Promote continuous service improvement by working with customers to improve service delivery.
3. Understand the contractual and commercial requirements of each IT Contractand work in collaboration with Corporate Procurement Department (CPU) on the development & management of contractual and commercial requirements for each new / existing IT contract.
4. The IT Contract Manager will work with relevant Service Owners to ensure high quality, cost effective services are provided while ensuring that robust IT contract management processes are followed.
General Responsibilities
Deliver high standards of customer service and contribute as directed to the review and implementation of customer service delivery.
1. Work in collaboration with the CPU in respect of commercial management and change management throughout the contract period.
2. Take ownership of customer queries and complaints, follow issues through to completion, while ensuring timely escalation when required.
3. To ensure continued and effective working relationships with key internal and external stakeholders, and the wider IT team.
Essential
Can demonstrate:
1. Can demonstrate at least 2 years’ experience within the last 4 years in a role involving the management of complex/large scale contracts.
2. Can demonstrate a broad understanding of enterprise-level technology.
3. Demonstrate experience in procurement and contract management systems and processes within a complex organization.
4. Demonstrate experience in all aspects of procurement processes including collaboration with the Procurement Department through the full procurement life-cycle.
5. Can demonstrate experience of managing a team including planning, prioritising and managing resources within a collaborative team-based environment.
6. A strong focus on customer service and a history of excellent client relations.
7. Ability to build strong relationships with suppliers and the business.
8. Ability to manage own time and work accurately under pressure to meet deadlines
