Exciting opportunity to join a growing team in an IT / Data Support role.
I’m thrilled to support my client's expansion by seeking an additional IT / Data Analyst to provide technical assistance to internal colleagues and external partners whilst also opening up the use of data within the team. Operating within the fulfilment industry, they support renowned delivery brands like Amazon, Etsy, and eBay, among others.
Salary: £26,000 - £28,000
Location: Gateshead
Hybrid working: No, this role is based on site 5 days a week.
Working Hours: Monday – Friday: 8am – 5pm, plus 1 Sunday morning in 4 (8am-1pm)
THE ROLE
You will play a pivotal role in the growing business and IT service desk, collaborating with a team of three. Your primary responsibilities will involve providing 1st and 2nd line tech troubleshooting, management, and maintenance across hardware and software within the organization. While your main focus will be on technical support, there's an exciting opportunity to delve into data-related tasks as our business evolves.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborating with the Head of IT Services to maintain and support IT systems, software, and hardware for both clients and the organization.
- Providing multi-site support across Gateshead and Peterlee (drivers licence & car essential)
- Undertaking system administration duties.
- Ensuring a high-quality customer journey in line with established onboarding process SOP.
- Facilitating a smooth transition to the operations team.
- Supporting the configuration and operation of new and existing clients through our order processing system (Mintsoft).
- Contributing to the onboarding process for new clients.
YOUR SKILLS / EXPERIENCE
To excel in this role, you should have previous experience in:
- Maintaining and supporting IT systems, software, and hardware, and resolving issues promptly.
- Assisting in the operation of the IT Service Desk using Jira.
- Engaging in data analytics activities, including knowledge of Excel, Power BI, and key functions, to produce and analyze reports.
- Knowledge of e-commerce web platforms would be advantageous.
- Onboarding systems and data for new clients.
- Integrating customer selling platforms with our system.
- Conducting system demos and providing training, both internally and externally.
- Assisting in the automation of existing processes.
- Compiling management reports and generating custom/bespoke reports.
