The key role of the IT & Facilities Assistant will be to assist with the smooth running of our offices in Altrincham, Liverpool, and London.
Duties will include but not be limited to:
Facilities
Office porterage as required, including office and furniture moves
Responsible for all incoming and outgoing archiving
Maintaining printer/stationery stock levels and communicating with suppliers
Carry out regular maintenance checks on the buildings, flagging any areas of concern to your line manager
Carry out basic maintenance activities as required, liaising with contractors for more complex maintenance requirements
Monitor all required planned and reactive maintenance
Ensure any contractors onsite have appropriate work permits and documentation
Ensure there are an adequate number of trained fire marshals and first aiders in line with legislation for all buildings
Liaise with the outsourced Cleaning and Facilities Management Company as and when required
Liaise with the concierge of the London Office as and when required
IT
Supporting the IT Manager with basic IT tasks as and when required
Liaising with our outsourced IT company (Quadris) as and when required
Ensuring the assets register is kept up to date and that all equipment is signed in and out
Ensure the server room is kept tidy
Liaise with HR and IT to ensure new starters are up and running
Ensure staff have the relevant IT equipment in order to undertake their roles, liaising with the Finance Director with regards ordering of additional items
Responsible for the delivery and collection of tech to home workers/leavers as and when required
Ensure any returned items of tech are in good working order and able to go back into circulation
Training & Development
You will ensure that you fully understand and adhere to all the relevant company policies and procedures as set out on the Training Portal and the Company Intranet
You will undertake all training and reading allocated to you on the Training Portal (Access Training) in the timescales set by the Training Team
You will ensure you attend all other training sessions that are rolled out to you by the Training Team
You will ensure that your training record is kept fully up to date

DIY skills to deal with simple office maintenance and repairs
IT support skills
Full clean driving licence and own vehicle
