About the role
Currently, I am recruiting for an IT Field Engineer with 3 – 4 years’ experience working in a fast-paced environment. My client is looking to invite someone in to their growing team.
You will have the opportunity to support businesses across the UK with all areas of IT consultancy, technical support and hosting; as well as having specialist Cyber Security and Data & Analytics arms to the business. Wherever our customers are on their IT roadmap, we can support them, from a simple IT review to a full cloud migration and ongoing infrastructure support.
What you will be doing:
The Field Engineer will provide delivery, installation, and support to external and internal customers across a wide range of technologies throughout the UK.
You will be responsible for attending customer sites when required to diagnose and repair faults, as well as configuring and installing end user equipment.
Within this role you'll have the freedom to explore and provide solutions for our clients and in turn develop your technical skills by supporting and configuring some challenging and interesting products and technologies.
Experinces needed for the role:
IT experience covering hardware, and technologies such as Microsoft 365 products and Windows Desktop.
Excellent in-person and remote customer service skills
A good understanding of security best practices
A logical and thorough approach to resolving incidents and requests.
A full UK driving license and access to a car.
