SalaryIT Infrastructure Engineer / Solution Designer Specialist working with a Telecoms Company for an initial 6-month contract, this will be paying up to £654 per day (inside IR35). Due to the nature of this project, the role will be 100% on site in Hemel Hempstead.
Candidates must hold active DV Clearance.
Job Summary
The purpose of this role is to design, build and/or migrate to new Hardware and Software solutions, integrating systems together to ensure an effective platform, maintain supportability and avoid obsolescence. The role holder is responsible for integrating multiple vendor technologies, producing component designs and ensuring conformance to the platform architecture.
Main Responsibilities
- Creates and owns technical solutions for a portfolio of work across a number of technology areas and delivers work autonomously.
- Integrates products, building end-to-end solutions to meet Customer or operational needs.
- Executes against project technical roadmap/delivery plan.
- Identifies design changes/improvements/updates required to keep in line with product support lifecycles.
- Provides design assurance of the solutions.
