As the IT Internal Audit Manager, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the effectiveness and efficiency of our internal controls and IT systems. This position requires a self-motivated and strategic professional with strong technical abilities and a proactive mindset. The ideal candidate will possess in-depth knowledge of IT audit principles and SOX ITGC guidelines.

What you’ll do

Strategic Planning:
Develop and implement a comprehensive IT Internal Audit plan aligned with the organisation's objectives and risk management framework.
Identify and prioritize key areas for IT audit focus based on risk assessments and industry best practices.
Audit Execution:
Independently lead and execute IT Internal Audits, assessing the adequacy of internal controls and compliance with relevant policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
Conduct reviews of IT processes, systems, and infrastructure to identify vulnerabilities and recommend improvements.
SOX Compliance:
Ensure compliance with SOX guidelines by evaluating and testing IT controls, documenting findings, and providing recommendations for remediation.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address and resolve control deficiencies in a timely manner.
Risk Management:
Stay abreast of emerging IT risks and industry trends, providing insights and recommendations to senior management.
Contribute to the development and enhancement of risk management policies and procedures.
Stakeholder Engagement:
Communicate audit findings and recommendations to key stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.
Collaborate with IT and business leaders to facilitate understanding and implementation of audit recommendations.
Continuous Improvement:
Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the Internal Audit function, implementing best practices and innovative approaches to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.

About you

Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business, or related field.
5+ years experience in audit (internal/external), financial analyst, or corporate accounting role; or 7+ years in other business role (Supply Chain, Engineering, IT or corporate function).
Professional certifications such as CISA (Certified Information Systems Auditor) or equivalent.
Proven experience in IT Internal Auditing with a focus on global organizations.
Strong understanding of SOX compliance and internal control frameworks.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.
Ability to work independently, demonstrating a self-starter attitude.
Ability and willingness to travel domestically and internationally as required.
