Your new role
Hays Technology has a fantastic opportunity for an experienced IT Manager to join a bespoke manufacturing business who require an IT Manager to oversee this specific site, whilst working alongside the Central IT Team. You will be responsible for ensuring that the business unit has the appropriate IT infrastructure and access to key data to enable it to meet business requirements.
What you'll need to succeed
The main focus for the incoming IT Manager will be to work closely with the Central IT team for the implementation of a new ERP system. You will be a key member of the steering team during implementation and future phases of the project.
IT Managers wishing to be considered must have the following key skills and experience:
- ERP systems experience
- Ideally experienced in ERP implementation
- Have an ability to Modify & generate business reports using a range of tools; Crystal reports, Power B.I. SQL report writer.
- Develop user dashboards, KPIs and visual management cues within the new system.
- Support local networking, thin client, print services and general hardware infrastructure on behalf of I.T central services.
- Identify Continuous Improvement (CI) initiatives across IT
- Provide specialist Technical advice and guidance to on-site colleagues.
- Whilst not essential - having experience of a similar role within a Manufacturing environment would be preferred.
