SalaryAn exciting opportunity has arisen for an IT Operations Analyst to join our client, a leading global FMCG company with Brands such as VO5, Brylcreem and TIGI based at their prestigious facility in Battersea, London.
This is a full-time temporary role to start ASAP to last 12 months working a 37.5-hour week and is paying up to £46,500 per annum, pro rata, depending on experience.

Your Role & Key Responsibilities
As an IT Application Operations Analyst you will play a key role in the management of the IT landscape that supports our Finance and HR Teams. You'll become the expert on the Finance and HR application landscape. If a question needs answering about an application, you will be able answer it or know who does know the answer.
The core system is Oracle Fusion (ERP, EPM and HCM). This position will play a fundamental role in the management and performance of our applications to ensure they are configured and operationalised to provide our users with the best possible experience.
This is an exciting opportunity to support the creation of a brand new organization and culture. You will gain experience of a large IT delivery program and be able to create the help ways of working that best support a successful business.
Your Key Responsibilities and Tasks
Work with users to understand business requirements and identify and pursue opportunities for improvements in the user journey - or the technical delivery of the IT estate
Working with Product vendors and Managed Service Support to fix defects and make changes
Have a deep understanding of the application design, the 'as-built' configuration and operational support model
Influencing the roadmap planning for Finance and HR applications and driving the change delivery priorities.
Make key decisions on performance and operability including capacity and availability management, anticipating business demands and operational acceptance testing criteria.
Contribute to service catalogue management and controlling appropriate user access.
Requirements
- IT Background with 4+ years of experience in a Technology delivery role
- Articulate and good communicator with the ability to communicate technical issues in an easy-to-understand way.
- Experience of IT product or application ownership
- A passion for making improvements and bias for action
- Strong knowledge of architecture methodologies, principles, and frameworks.
- Ability to work independently and as a part of the team - in a "start up" mentality
- Oracle Fusion experience is essential, notably Oracle ERP Cloud and / or HCM
