Our client is a leading Managed Service Provider (MSP) specializing in delivering comprehensive IT solutions to businesses in SME's in Ireland. They have been in operation close to 30 years, and are well respected in the industry.
They are seeking a highly experienced IT Operations Manager to join their team on a permanent basis. This role is an excellent opportunity for an experienced managed ideally coming from a technical background but not essential. The most important piece of experience required is strong leadership skills and the ability to manage a technical team both working on projects & operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of skilled IT professionals, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.
Client Engagement: Build and maintain strong client relationships, understanding their unique technical needs and aligning our MSP services to exceed expectations.
Service Delivery: Oversee the day-to-day operations of our MSP offerings, ensuring the delivery of reliable, efficient, and high-quality IT services.
Strategic Planning: Develop and execute strategies to expand our MSP business, including identifying new technical opportunities, partnerships, and revenue streams.
Performance Metrics: Define and monitor KPIs to measure the technical success and performance of the MSP team, making data-driven decisions for improvement.
Budget Management: Responsible for managing the MSP budget, optimizing resource allocation, and ensuring profitability.
Skills & Experience:
- Ideally someone from a customer facing / consultancy / managed services company
Proven leadership skills with experience managing and developing technical teams.
Exceptional technical knowledge across a range of IT services, technologies, and industry best practices.
Strong understanding of IT security and compliance requirements.
Exceptional client relationship management and communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
Strategic thinker with a track record of driving technical business growth.
Experience with budget management and financial acumen.
