Job Description
Are you an experienced IT Programme Manager? Do you enjoy being in the thick of large scale transformation? We may have the ideal role for you. We are now recruiting an IT Programme Manager on a 12 month fixed-term contract basis to provide strategic management and oversight of highly complex Technology Programmes, as part of the Group Finance IT Portfolio to agreed time, cost, scope and quality criteria. Manage all IT Products / Services, Partners and Resources to help sponsors achieve their objectives, by identifying and delivering technologies and changes that provide significant and lasting business value.
  • As part of your role, you will be establishing and maintaining the correct governance and organisational structures to control and monitor the IT deliverables to the business.
  • Determining, monitoring and reviewing all programme economics, including costs, staffing requirements, programme resources, and risks, ensuring that there are appropriate and effective governance arrangements, supported by appropriate and timely reporting.
  • Ensuring that programme control procedures are in place so that these can be used to assess the risks, issues, assumptions and has on project costs, timescale and resources.
  • Delivering effective communication to all interested parties, key stakeholders and Senior Managers, to support effective decision-making and the smooth and efficient delivery of IT Programmes.
Qualifications
  • Proven experience of delivering a range of IT Programmes / Projects.
  • A Strong customer focus.
  • Strong financial acumen with ability to effectively manage and control budgets, whilst ensuring value for money is delivered.
  • Significant experience in managing delivery of IT Programmes and transformational change.
  • Good organisational and change management skills with demonstrated ability to prioritise effectively.
  • A strong and practical understanding of both on premise and cloud computing environments.
