BENEFITS: 39 Days holiday (inc bank hols) + up to 21% pension + up to £10K relocation package + flexible/hybrid working THE ROLE: The University of Hull has an exciting opportunity for an experienced IT Project Manager. The successful IT Project Manager will join the organisation in a time of change and transformation and will be accountable for delivering multiple projects within the IT Transformation Programme which will improve and transform the infrastructure and core systems of the University. You will be responsible for managing the initiation, planning and execution of projects which will ultimately result in the successful selection, implementation, replacement and upgrade of business critical information systems and infrastructure. You will also be required to contribute to the development of best practice within the University and help develop an internal Project Management framework. KEY SKILLS & EXPERIENCE: Previous experience of delivering IT projects, preferably with a focus on infrastructure (VMware, cloud computing, networking, security, Active Directory, End User Computing). The ability to manage multi-disciplinary project teams from multiple departments, implementation partners and suppliers. Previous experience running projects and managing budgets on a day-to-day basis. Previous experience managing project risks and issues. The ability to provide leadership and direction to the projects that you are managing. The ability to build relationships with a variety of different stakeholders. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Higher education experience would be highly desirable.
