Job description

Are you a skilled IT Service Analyst with proven experience and knowledge in software, hardware and systems?

As part of our Technology Team, you will be tasked with upholding the highest standards when performing essential IT services for our staff and customers.

In this role you will:

  • Handle incidents and requests in the helpdesk, while coordinating with third party providers as necessary, providing users with first and second line support for issues or requests relating to Eastlight’s software applications, hardware, and mobile devices.
  • Log and prioritise any incoming ICT requests from the business within the Service Desk application.
  • Work to ensure that support tickets are properly recorded and updated with status updates to keep users aware of developments.
  • Produce self-help materials, short films, or presentations, you may educate, assist, and empower people across the company to use business processes and to use the technologies that are best suited to their jobs.
  • Establish a knowledge base library that customers can visit for frequently asked questions.
  • Whenever necessary, collaborate with the Infrastructure and Business Systems Team to manage all tickets that have been added to your queue and make sure that SLAs are met.
  • Set up and register all ICT hardware, such as laptops, tablets, and cell phones.
  • Sort and communicate concerns affecting Business as Usual to the Technology Team and the affected users
  • Work on and take responsibility over the starters and leavers process, including hardware delivery and return as well as ICT inductions for any new hires in the company.


To succeed with your application, you need:

  • Proven experience working in a service desk function, within a business applications environment, with strong knowledge of Office 365 applications, Windows 10 and Server 2016/19 operating systems.
  • Confidence in operating with Microsoft Exchange online, AD, Citrix and conducting fault diagnosis.
  • Ability in configuring and supporting mobile devices including IOS, Android, and Windows.

  • £29,169 annual base salary
  • Permanent Contract
