As an IT Support Engineer, you'll play a crucial role in maintaining IT systems, troubleshooting issues, and providing training to all users.

Some practical working experience is a must and candidates must live locally and within a commutable distance around Spalding.

Key Responsibilities include:

• Configure new users and devices
• Maintain a comprehensive database of support requests
• Repair hardware faults and report complex issues to the IT Manager
• Support teaching staff with technical aspects of IT
• Develop and maintain the network
• Ensure adherence to IT policies
• Resolve hardware and software issues
• Maintain relationships with suppliers
• Keep track of assets in the register

Suitable candidates must be able to demonstrate the following:

• Knowledge of current Windows and mobile operating systems
• Experience of core desktop and cloud business applications
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Clear and analytical thinking
• Excellent communication skills
• Willingness and ability to learn new skills quickly
• Ability to document processes and procedures

• Knowledge of Active Directory, Microsoft Exchange is desirable
• Network, VPN, and VOIP experience is desirable
• Installation experience with firewall, printers, laptops, and printers is desirable
• Familiarity with security and AV software is desirable
