It Support Engineer - Web Hosting

Our client, a global blue chip company, is looking for IT Support Engineer to provide Web Hosting service to clients in Europe, Middle East, Africa and CIS.

[Key Accountabilities]
(1) To provide technical guidance and support to the client's on-line managers, marketers, promotion manager and webapps productive people.

(2) Web/WAS software installation, configuration & change management.

(3) Release/Update program and build process to production and troubleshoot-out.

(4) Manage websites information and generate periodic reports.

[Requirements]
(1) Must have minimum 2 years of Web Hosting experience

(2) Must have industry recognised cloud certificate with minimum 6 months of Public Cloud experience

(3) Experience in IIS, .NET, ASP, PHP, MS-SQL, Windows OS

(4) Experience in Apache, Tomcat, JVM, MySQL, LINUX beneficial

(5) Experience in Website development beneficial

(6) Experience in Security administration

(7) Experience in Docker, Container and Kubernetes

(8) Experience in Devops, CI/CD including Jenkins and build process knowledge

(9) Knowledge of database, applications, and web server design, implementation

(10) Understanding of Firewall technology

(11) Understanding of TCP/IP and related protocols

(12) Network basic knowledge or experience

(13) Must hold a valid driving license with own car for possible emergency call outs

(14) Solid interpersonal and communication skills with ability to communicate and build rapport with colleagues, and clients

[Conditions]
(1) Job location: Weybridge, Surrey (on-site car park & free shuttle from/to Weybridge rail station)

(2) Hybrid working: 3~4 days in the office & 1~2 days work from home

(3) Job type: full-time & 12 month contract (subject to be extended)

(4) Hours of work: 37.5 hour per week (some overtime work may be required for emergencies and projects)

(5) Annual basic salary: up to 50K (depending on experience)

(6) Performance based bonus, pension, life assurance, private medical insurance, etc.

(7) Annual leave: 33 (25 holidays + 8 bank holidays)
