Job Title: IT Support (Live Chat)
Salary: £24,000 - £27,000
Hours: Full Time
Location: Earlswood, Solihull (own transport essential)
Description:
We are currently looking to recruit an enthusiastic team player to join our clients Customer Service and IT SupportTeam. They are a family run, successful and well-established business based near Earlswood/Tanworth in Arden. A background in Customer Service or IT is required.
It is essential that you have your own transport, as this location can’t be reached on public transport.
Key Duties:
- To work closely with clients over the phone, email and Live Chat, to provide support and training for both software and hardware
- Ensure that customers receive full set up and ongoing support for full range of software
- Ensure all customer needs are met by providing regular check-ups, detailed software guidance calls and email support
- Support with occasional opportunities to provide face to face training and technical support to our customers across the UK and Ireland
- To work closely across all teams from Membership Customer Service, Management, Software Development, Business Development and Sales & Marketing, to ensure constant up to date knowledge of all areas of the business
Key Skills/Experience Required:
- Strong interpersonal skills who can integrate into the team and collaborate effectively
- Previous experience within a customer service-based environment with an interested in IT would be preferred
- The ability to communicate technical concepts to a non-technical audience would be advantageous
- An ability to prioritise workload and perform well in busy periods
- Problem solving and a good initiative is essential
- Responsible for investigating and making and justifying technical decisions
This is an excellent role for experienced Customer Service or IT Supportcandidateto work in a varied role within a busy team. In return you will receive a salary of £24,000 - £27,000.
