It Support Officer

Samaritan’s Purse International (SPI) and the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association (BGEA) are seeking an experienced IT Manager to join the IT department at our head office in Coventry. The role is full time (35 hours per week).

The IT Manager will be responsible for delivering IT projects, supported by a small IT team, to meet the needs of the ministries of SPI and the BGEA. The post holder will have a close working relationship with the IT department of our international headquarters in the USA.

Key duties will include:

•             Holistic and Strategic IT visioning and execution

•             Project Management

•             Cyber Security and Risk Management

•             Data Protection Regulation Compliance

•             Data Management and Governance

•             IT Budgeting

•             Application Management

•             IT Operations Management

In accordance with the Equality Act of 2010 and due to both the nature and context of the role there is an ‘occupational requirement’ for the post holder to be an evangelical Christian. The job holder should be committed to the purpose of SPI and be able to demonstrate enthusiasm for the Christian purposes of the organisation and be able to live out, hold to, support, and contribute to its Christian ethos.
