IT Support Officer
Salary Range: £31,364 - £34,834 per annum
Work your way: 37 hours per week, flexible working with hybrid arrangements

About Us
At Salisbury Parish, our Corporate Services Team plays a pivotal role in supporting the entire council. As a valued member of our team, you'll be responsible for overseeing the IT Roadmap, manage IT licensing, policies and equipment inventory as well as providing IT support to our staff and Councillors. The role will further support the Head of Corporate Services to work with the council’s IT maintenance provider and other third-party contractors.
About You
We are looking for a capable individual who has experience in providing IT support, is proficient in MS Office 365 and Windows Desktop Support (Windows 10+). You will need to excel in building meaningful working relationships through exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal and an ability to thrive within a team while effectively prioritizing and adapting to a dynamic workload.
Essential Technical Criteria
- SharePoint, Exchange, Teams and Windows Servers
- Active Directory, Azure AD and Group Policy management
- Strong Microsoft 365 experience, Endpoint/Intune device management
- User management, account creation/deletion, licensing management
- Asset/Inventory management
- Mobile device management
- Hyper-V server experience
- Advanced IP networking - demonstrable knowledge and skills
- VLAN’s, routing, switching, firewalls and VPN
- Ubiquiti managed wi-fi
