It Support Specialist

Pentland Brands is seeking a highly skilled and motivated IT Support Specialist (known internally as Senior Analyst (Workplace Technologies) to join our dynamic team. With a rich history and a commitment to innovation, Pentland Brands offers an exciting opportunity for an individual with expertise in desktop support, warehousing technologies, and broader infrastructure.

Location: Sunderland (with travel to Nottingham, Blackburn, Washington, and Livingston).

The role you’d play:

• Collaborating with the global IT team to deliver customer-focused support to the broader business, specifically in the day-to-day support of desktop hardware and software.
• Familiarizing yourself with the operations of the warehouse-based ecommerce/digital team and providing support as well as suggesting process improvements.
• Developing a deep understanding of distribution center operations and prioritising support calls based on the location of issues within the respective DC; promptly addressing any problems that impact warehouse operations.
• Collaborating with other members of the Global Technology and Security Operations IT team.

What you’d bring:

• A solid knowledge of Microsoft O365, Windows & Apple Operating systems, HP hardware, Azure, Active Directory, Cisco IP Telephony, and networking.
• Previous experience in a customer support role / technical role.
