It Support Technician

We are actively recruiting for a IT Support Technician to support a busy internal team based in South Shields.  This is an excellent opportunity to join this dynamic , forward thinking organisation with a great reputation in the area.  The role is a Monday - Friday position but will include being involved in a on call rota on evenings and weekends.  Due to this the ideal candidate will drive and have their own transport. 
Working Hours:
Monday - Friday 9am-5pm
On call rota for evenings and weekends where you may be called out to various sites. (This is paid at time and a half or Double time depending on days/times called out) 
The Role
Supporting all sites and working as part of a small team, you will be responsible for providing technical support for hardware, software and communications.
Day to day activities will include:

• Technical support for staff at all levels across the business, ensuring all incidents and recorded accurately and resolved efficiently
• Email query management
• Set up a range of equipment such as PC's, mobile devices, display equipment etc.
• ICT projects
• Taking IT Support calls and assisting on urgent enquiries

The Ideal Candidates
You'll ideally have at least 1 year's experience in a similar role and demonstrate a proactive approach and appetite for knowledge. You'll also be a confident communicator with strong listening and problem solving skills.
