Our client are looking for an experienced Technician to provide 2nd Line Support to all of their staff across the site as well assisting with IT Equipment Set up and deployment.
As well as supporting with BAU tickets, our client are looking for someone who can work on background projects to enhance user experience.
The role:
- Assist with providing an efficient and effective ICT support service, including helpdesk ticket resolution for user job requests.
- Set up and maintain the ICT network, desktop ICT and classroom audio-visual equipment, mobile devices, mobile phones, managed printing solution, associated hardware and software and connectivity.
- Build, configure, image and deploy all school ICT equipment, including patching and software installations and updates.
- Deal with user account queries, resetting passwords, account setups, investigations, and troubleshooting.
- Support all departments with their specific operational requirements, including installation, set-up and support.
- Support the IT Manager in the delivery of various projects as required.
Skills Required
- Excellent ICT skills and knowledge of ICT technical support processes.
- Knowledge/experience of Windows 10 and 11 and Microsoft 365.
- Familiar with desktop ICT and classroom audio[1]visual equipment, mobile devices, and mobile phones. Willingness to learn and develop.
- Excellent communication skills, patience, tenacity, and adaptability.
Location: Worcester (on-site)
Salary: £26-28,000
