As an IT Systems Administrator, you will be responsible for maintaining, monitoring, and upgrading our software, hardware, and networks along with providing technical support to all end users either by email, phone, or desk side. This role offers an on-site environment based in Normanton, Leeds.

Responsibilities:
Monitoring systems health and reporting findings to the Head of IT
Updating all end user PC's when and as required, ensuring that no impact is caused to the business
Installation of network devices and network cabling
Resolve IT issues where necessary, aiming to achieve a high % first time fix
Identify the nature of technical problems and work with colleagues and external suppliers as required to solve
Discuss improvements and problem-solving solutions for the Head of IT approval, implementing these ideas and strategies to create a more efficient and reliable IT service
End user training on PC and Software use
Any project work, where and as required
Profile
Qualifications for a successful IT Systems Administrator candidate:
Minimum experience working in a 2nd Line Support role
In depth experience with the Microsoft 365 Admin Center with hands on involvement managing the following areas: - SharePoint Online - OneDrive - Exchange Online - Teams - Entra ID/Azure AD (Use of Enterprise Applications, Conditional Access, SSO & MFA) - Intune MDM (iOS, Android, and Windows)
Administering the local domain using Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS & DHCP
Configuring & maintaining LAN/WAN/VPN connections
Installing, Configuring and Administering Routers, Switches (GUI, CLI is advantageous) and Access Points
Understanding and configuration of VLAN/ACL/Load Balancing Rules & Port Forwarding
Support for Phone Systems utilising SIP (Session Initiation Protocol) trunks
Understanding of Cyber Security best practises
Monitoring and Patching of Windows Servers and Windows Client OS
The ability and confidence to work both alone and as part of a small team
Problem solving and analytical skills with the ability to work well under pressure
Extremely organised and process driven
Ability to communicate effectively across all departments
Configuring of Computers and Peripherals and servicing with basic repairs
Ability to troubleshoot system faults and solving hardware/software issues
Installation of network devices and experience with network cabling
