We are seeking an experienced IT Systems Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for technology, a strong understanding of IT systems and solutions, and a proactive approach to problem-solving. As an IT Systems Engineer, you will play a crucial role in supporting and enabling IT change, troubleshooting and resolving IT problems, and contributing to the strategic direction of our technical infrastructure.
Responsibilities
- Support and enable IT change initiatives following ITIL version 4 framework and recommendations.
- Troubleshoot and resolve IT problems related to hardware, software, and networks.
- Maintain and support our technical estate built around Microsoft tech stack, Meraki, SaaS solutions (including our bespoke workshop management system), and SSO.
- Collaborate with internal teams and stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Design, implement, and maintain cloud and network solutions to ensure optimal performance of business systems.
- Develop and implement disaster recovery plans to ensure business continuity.
- Create and maintain comprehensive solution documentation, including system configurations and troubleshooting guides.
- Communicate technical information effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Collaborate with IT teams, business units, and suppliers to trial, onboard, and embed new systems.
- Adhere to IT governance and security best practices.
- Experience with a wide range of Microsoft technologies and SaaS solutions.
- Proficiency in working with both off-the-shelf and bespoke products.
- Familiarity with ITIL version 4 framework.
- Strong planning and organizational skills with the ability to prioritize effectively.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to build and maintain relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
- Positive approach to problem-solving with a solution-oriented mindset.
- Experience working in a collaborative team environment.
