It Technician

Elevation Recruitment Group are pleased to be supporting one of our key clients in the recruitment of an IT Technician for their site in Kingswinford, West Midlands.
*Please note this role is site-based Monday – Friday*
As the sole IT Support Technician, you will provide day to day technical support to a 60 strong site userbase, providing first class IT advice on all hardware, software and network issues, forming part of a wider Group IT function offering additional expertise on system integration.
Key Duties & Responsibilities of the IT Support Technician:
Diagnose and troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issuesInstall, configure, and maintain computer systems and applicationsProvide technical support to end-users, both in-person and remotelyCollaborate with cross-functional teams to implement and support IT solutionsEnsure the security and integrity of IT systems and dataAssist in the planning and execution of IT projectsWe are keen to speak with IT Professionals who possess the following skills & experience:
Proven experience as an IT Technician or similar roleStrong knowledge of computer hardware, software, and networkingExperience with configuring firewallsAbility to work independently and collaboratively in a team environmentAbility to prioritize and manage multiple tasksFamiliarity with various systems, Office 365 applications, Active Directory (Azure)Experience with troubleshooting tools and techniquesBasic knowledge of cybersecurity best practicesThis is a fantastic opportunity to add real value as the site IT Support Technician for this prestigious manufacturing business
