We are looking for a dedicated IT Support Technician to join our dynamic team in Hereford, working in the education sector.

Role:

• Provide comprehensive IT support to staff and students, ensuring smooth operation of educational technologies.
• Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and network issues promptly and efficiently.
• Assist in the maintenance and upgrading of IT infrastructure, including computers, servers, and networking equipment.
• Support the implementation of new technologies and software in the classroom environment.
• Conduct training sessions and create documentation to enhance IT literacy among staff and students.
• Collaborate with the IT team to develop and implement IT policies and procedures.

Technologies:

• Microsoft Windows 11, Office 2019 and 2021 & Office 365,
• Virtual Desktops/Windows Hyper-V virtual machines
• Understand and support DHCP, DNS, LAN/WAN, TCP/IP and WIFI systems
• Administering AD login accounts, Distribution and Security Group membership
• Supporting PCs, laptops and tablets.
• Backup procedures and Anti-Virus
• Supporting Apple products, specifically iPads & iMacs in an educational or corporate environment.
