It Technician

We are looking for an IT Technician to join our client who are Tewkesbury-based on a permanent, full-time basis, 37.5 hours per week. This is a great opportunity to join a vibrant team and develop your skills while supporting the growth of the organisation.
The ideal IT Technician for this role will possess a minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar IT support role, have a practical mindset and great perseverance, as well as excellent problem-solving skills. Knowledge and experience of Windows 10 and Networking is a must for this role, as is knowledge and experience with Microsoft dynamics.
The successful IT Technician will be tasked with:

• Delivering on site and remote support and escalating IT issues when necessary.
• Utilising investigation lines of questioning to perform effective and informative fault finding and troubleshooting activities.
• Investigate remote monitoring alerts to provide proactive responses.
• Deliver and install end-user hardware.
• Diagnose and resolve hardware-based technical issues.
• Support and maintain on-premises and cloud-based Microsoft server/desktop environments.

As an IT Technician, you will undertake Office 365 administration, install software to desktops and laptops, manage and install anti-virus, and maintain and update technical documentation. Our ideal candidate will demonstrate a passion for IT, with experience of working in an IT support Team, the ability to manage and prioritise multiple activities, and have excellent communication skills.
