Barnet Special Education Trust are seeking to appoint an experienced IT Technician to provide frontline support at Oak Lodge School in East Finchley. Under the direction of the Head of IT, the successful candidate will be at the forefront of providing vital technical support to the Trust, ensuring the uninterrupted functionality of information and communication technology systems. Oak Lodge School is a secondary special needs school for 200 students.
- Experience of working as an IT Technician in a school or similar institution.
- Excellent problem-solving skills.
- Ability to prioritise your own workload, good communication skills, patience and experience of providing onsite IT support to staff with varying degrees of technical knowledge.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a wider IT and Estates team to deliver IT projects.
- Ability to ensure the effective implementation of solutions, projects and programmes.
- Awareness of cyber-security issues and commitment to protecting data and management of risk.
- Passion for innovation and enrichment of learning environments through innovative use of IT.
