What to expect

As a ITIL Change and Release Analyst you will join our growing Enterprise IT Service Operations Team, where we focus on protecting IT Services for our Postmasters, Colleagues and Customers

You will be working as part of a team of Change and Release experts, you’ll be key in helping us to align processes to the Post Office ways of working. Operating cross-functionally with IT colleagues and the wider business, you will provide the tools and processes needed to enable change in an evolving IT landscape.

This role offers you an exciting opportunity to Chair the Change Advisory Board and Post Office Release Scheduling Forum, collaborating with key internal and external colleagues at all levels, assessing releases and RFC’s in terms of technical feasibility, strategic direction, impacts and clashes.

What you’ll need to succeed

You will be building and maintaining key relationships, holding service reviews and post implementation reviews with IT partners and reporting on monthly performance to drive continual service improvement forward. As a ITIL ChangeRelease Analyst, you will manage releases via the service management tool ServiceNow, including, management of the forward schedule of release, ensuring minimal impact to Postmasters and reducing clashes.

You will have:

  • Analytical skills and ability to impact access effectively
  • Demonstrated customer first thinking and behaviours
  • Experience supporting ITIL processes
  • Has a proven track record of effective team working
  • Confident in challenging others, whilst at the same time maintaining and building a professional relationship
  • Personal resilience and drive to succeed. Self-motivated to achieve against targets
  • ITIL Foundation v3/4 essential
