We’re looking for an IVF Clinical Nurse Manager to join our team at The Lister Fertility Clinic based at The Portland Hospital, currently rated ‘Good’ by the CQC. Regarded as one of the leading private fertility centres in the UK the Lister Fertility Clinic has been part of the story in over 21,000 births so far and has continued to grow, with an exciting expansion into The Portland Hospital in 2022.
As an IVF Clinical Nurse Manager, you’ll play a key role in our continued growth, using your expertise to empower your team to deliver the high quality, evidence-based approach to fertility care we’re known for. Day-to-day you’ll take oversee the management of the unit, making the best use of resources while driving the development of people within your team. We’ll look to you as an expert in your field to work with the wider MDT team to deliver a great patient experience from initial assessment through to evaluation, using your deep understanding of regulatory compliance to effectively manage risks and drive quality improvement initiatives. What you’ll bring:
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to flexibly respond to the needs of the unit and the wider hospital
- Ability to effectively manage the unit on a day-to-day basis and plan ahead
- Ability to work autonomously as well as part of a team
- Excellent interpersonal skills, including communication (verbal, non-verbal and written), positive mental attitude and sensitivity
- The ability to set, implement and evaluate standards of practice
- A Commitment to Continual Professional Development
- An understanding of clinical governance and how to drive quality improvement and change management initiatives
