Job Description
We are looking for someone to join us to help develop our public Beta version of Protolyst.
We are a small team at the moment looking to capitalise on our early customer traction and scale our product to empower more users worldwide. We are looking for an aspiring full-stack developer to join our team with strong knowledge of programming fundamentals, experience in a JavaScript framework (preferably React.js) and state management, familiarity with REST APIs and microservices, and a desire to grow with us as we develop feature sets and grow the company. You'll be organised and enjoy both working as part of a team and autonomously to deliver elegant technical solutions.
We've been working in Bristol, UK for the past few years together and love the city, but equally are happy to consider remote candidates.
Main responsibilities:
- Build modular and highly scalable UI components using Javascript.
- Take charge of the design, development, and maintenance of a performant and scalable data-driven application.
- Build and improve visual tools that interface with a NoSQL database, to enable users to build a Knowledge Management system quickly.
- Participate in cross-team technical design discussions on application architecture, UI components, UX, back-end and third-party integration, and testing.
- Leverage and develop microservices and REST APIs to deliver a variety of features to users.
- Rapidly fix bugs, solve problems, and proactively strive to improve our product and technology.
Requirements
- 3+ years experience working with JavaScript.
- Strong computer science fundamentals.
- Experience translating concepts and ideas into functional, unique user experiences.
Desired
- Proficient with React and the React ecosystem.

Pay: £28,000.00-£32,000.00 per year
