What you will do:
FM:Systems is looking for Jnr CAD Technician to join our CAD team to assist with our product deployments across the globe.
How you will do it:
Working & creating building drawings in AutoCAD .
Using measured surveys from our survey team to update and create floor plans for a variety of customers, mainly in the public sector.
Converting surveys into the relevant CAD specification using intelligent attribute blocks and layouts.
Learning and using our own in-house commands and software.
Update and draft customer CAD files to our CAD standards.
Work with CAD lead on managing timelines.
Hybrid working with 2-3 days in our Blackburn office.
Travel to Site and help out survey team when required .
Support Surveying & CAD team on imbedding new processes based on latest technology.
Work with onsite team to resolve queries should they arise to ensure customer deadlines are met.
What we look for:
Required
GCSEs or A-levels.
Knowledge of AutoCAD lisp creation would be advantageous but not essential.
Building Survey & Elevation knowledge would be advantageous but not essential.
Training will be given on all aspects.
